Juve close on Reds ace with Dybala heading out
Juventus are closing in on the capture of Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku, with Paulo Dybala set to move the other way.
Serie A rivals Inter Milan appeared to be in the box seat to do a deal but could not agree a fee with the English Premier League giants, and that has left the door open for the Bianconeri to nip in and do a deal.
Dybala had his nose pushed out of joint at the Allianz Stadium following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and will jump at the chance to join United, while Lukaku is also keen for a fresh start in Turin.
Some reports have claimed the deal is done and Dybala just needs to agree personal terms with United, but Reds boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was giving nothing away on Tuesday night.
After watching his side beat Kristiansund 1-0 last night, the Norwegian was quizzed about the deal but would not say it is done.
‘I’m not here to talk about rumours about other teams’ players,’ Solskjaer said. ‘We’re working on one or two cases. It’s 10 days or so before we start the league and hopefully we can announce a fresh face or two.’
